The success of “Pachinko” has put actress, Kim Min Ha on the map, as she has turned into cover model and endorses several luxury brands.

Big-budget Korean drama, “Pachinko” released in March of this year and created quite a buzz for its story portraying the appalling lives of the suppressed Koreans in Japan through generations of a single family. Each of its characters was well-received and applauded for their fine acting.

Actress Kim Min Ha played supporting roles in several Korean dramas before but it was “Pachinko” that catapulted her to fame.

In “Pachinko”, she played the role of young Kim Sunja who migrates to Japan with her husband and kids to live with her in-laws. Min Ha being the central character is the thread that connects three generations. And she has done an exemplary job of exhibiting the myriad of emotions that Sunja experiences throughout her lifetime.
