Motorcycle Man Review: A Steamy Office Romance With The Bad Biker Boy

After my tryst with Tessa Dare’s historical erotica, I resolved to explore more books in the erotica genre this year. Also, I own a Kindle where I can buy the sexiest of novels at a discounted rate and don’t even have to worry about anyone around me frowning at my collection of hot romance novels. Sticking to my resolution, I found Kristen Ashley who is very popular for her sexy romance novels. And man! Was this book sexy! It was titillating to a whole new level. I have lost count of the times my faced flushed reading the painfully hot scenes between Tyra and Tack. If you are looking for a hot read then you have reached the right post and let me explain what is so about it.

Tyra Masters has had enough drama to last a lifetime. Now, she’s back on track and looking forward to her new, quiet life. Until she meets the man of her dreams. The tattooed, muscled biker plies her with tequila-and the best sex of her life. She knows it isn’t the tequila and hot sex talking. He’s the kind of man she’s always wanted. Unfortunately, he’s also her new boss.

Kane “Tack” Allen has a rule. He doesn’t employ someone he’s slept with. So when he learns he spent last night in bed with his new office manager, he quickly fires Tyra. Yet when Tyra stands up to him and fights for her job, Tack is intrigued. He tells her she can keep her job on one condition: no more sex. Ever. But as things heat up between them, Tack finds that he’ll be the one breaking all the rules.

I LIKE Motorcycle Man Because,

…the book delivers what you want. It gives you some lavalicious hot romance between two people who have had their fingers burnt in previous unsuccessful relationships. This trope of two people finding new lease of life through a new relationship almost always works for me. Our hot heroine, Tyra is desperate for a job. She grabs the first job she gets and refuses to back down even after being threatened and intimidated by her boss. She may seem a little confused at times but she knows what she wants from life and nothing seems to stop her. Tack is supposedly the man she always dreamed of loving someday but he ruthlessly shatters all hopes of an office romance on the first day itself. With the broken pieces of her heart, she carries on with what seems like a daunting job only to find herself more in love with Tack.

Tack, on the other hand, does not believe in love and commitment especially after having a messy divorce with a freak of a wife. He tries his best to scare Tyra away who he finds temptingly attractive. But nothing seems to scare his new manager. Not even his shameless sexual advances. The story has a rough start but if you are used to such romance novels then you will know that such friction is normal in the beginning. Tack is this bad boy who will go to any length to see his woman safe and happy. He is a menace to the world but to his woman he is her safe haven that helps her face anything and everything in life.

I Do NOT Like Motorcycle Man Because,

…initially I had to muffle the voice in my head calling out Tack’s sexual harassment at work. Had this not been an erotic novel the start to Tack and Tyra’s supposed ‘romance’ would undoubtedly be termed as abhorrent. Tack may not want Tyra as his employee but the way he deals with the situation is despicable. It was a struggle not to clench my fist each time he made a bold advance toward Tyra. I had to remind myself that this is fiction and I need not get agitated but rather wait patiently to see how the story develops. Once it becomes clear that Tyra and Tack shared some romantic vibe, enjoying the story became much easier.

…the talking style of Tack was exasperating. However, his informal lingo is a part of his character so it is expected. It is just that I’m not a big fan of this way of talking hence the irritation.

Favourite Quotes in Motorcycle Man

“Truth, honesty, perseverance, strength, love of all kinds and forgiveness are all beautiful, Tack. The most beautiful stories ever told are the most difficult to take.”

“I can’t function around a man if I know his ability to give pleasure.”

Final View: If you are trash for two people finding a new lease of life through steamy romance then Motorcycle Man should make it to your TBR list.
