Netflix Releases First Trailer Of “Alice In Borderland” Season 2 Featuring New Interesting Characters

Netflix released a super teaser trailer of the much-awaited season 2 of the Japanese thriller “Alice In Borderland” over the weekend.

The new trailer has got fans excited who have been waiting for 2 years to see the show to its conclusion. Also, a glimpse of Tomohisa Yamashita and more new characters has piqued curiosity amongst viewers.

Here have a look at the trailer of “Alice In Borderland 2”

“Alice In Borderland” is a dystopian parallel universe having people playing dangerous games to win a card that extends their life to a certain number of days. Once the card has expired, the players have to play and win another round of games to keep surviving in this world. The players are sucked into this gaming world without their knowledge and have no idea how to get out of it without putting their lives in danger.

The main character Arisu is played by Japanese actor Yamazaki Kento while actress Tsuchiya Tao plays his partner Usagi Yuzuha.

I am stoked about season 2 of “Alice In Borderland” not because I love the show but because I’m dying to know the suspense. I have not read the original manga series so I have zero clue about what happens next.

In my drama review, I mentioned how the dorama made me uncomfortable with its highly sexualized and violent theme. But I liked the characters, especially Arisu and Usagi. And I want to know what pulled them into this weird world and how (if) they come out of it.

Even though the gore will be disturbing and I know I will have to cover my eyes through most scenes, I will still watch it because ya know my curiosity always gets the better of me. 🙂
