Nyassa Bubblegum Lip Balm Review: A Lip Balm With Good Fragrance And Taste

Hello everyone. It is a bright and beautiful Monday in my city and I hope you have a very good morning too. A few weeks ago I had reviewed the Nyassa Mountain Musk soap and mentioned how intoxicating its fragrance was. Along with the soap I had purchased the Nyassa Bubblegum Lip Balm because just like the soap, the balm too smelled like heaven! Nyassa is a luxury brand offering cruelty-free, vegetarian products. The balm is said to be free from harmful chemicals that make lips black. I fell in love with its fragrance so I had to have it. I have been using this tiny little pot for months and here is my experience with it.

Nyassa Bubblegum Lip Balm offers enhanced hydration for chapped and dry lips. It moisturises the lips and repairs damaged skin.

Does it fulfil its claim?

The balm comes in a tiny, transparent plastic pot with a golden screw cap. You have to dip your finger into the pot to apply the balm to your lips.

Nyassa Bubblegum Lip Balm Review

I seldom buy lip balms that come in a pot because I am always typing on my PC and am also always in need of a lip balm to hydrate my perpetually dry lips. The idea of dipping an unclean finger into the pot and then applying the balm to the lips does not seem very hygienic to me. But I still bought this lip balm because as I said before, I loved its smell. This balm actually smells like a bubblegum. It even tastes sweet. I feel embarrassed to admit that I actually lick the balm off my lips because I find it sugary sweet. I am crazy but you please do not follow my footsteps. Do not eat the balm no matter how tempting it is. The lip balm does moisturise the lips but does not really help with chapped lips. So, if you have severely chapped lips, this lip balm will not help much as it may not give instant relief. However, regular application of this balm surely helps to keep dry lips at bay. Its colourless formula adds a slight sheen to the lips. I have tried using it under my lipstick but the formula is a little greasy so the lipstick is unable to pass on the tint to the lips. The lip balm stays on for barely an hour or more. It does not last long even if you are not drinking or eating anything. If I have to repurchase it, I will do it only for its fragrance and taste. 😉

What’s good about it?

Fruity fragrance

Moisturises lips

Adds sheen to lips

Paraben-free

Petroleum-free

What’s not so good about it?

Comes in a pot

Expensive

Does not help with chapped lips

I give Nyassa Bubblegum Lip Balm 3 out of 5 rating. The fragrance and taste of this lip balm are highly addictive. It moisturises the lips and gives it a natural sheen. It may not work for those who have extremely parched lips.

You can buy this soap from Nyassa Bath and Body or Amazon.in.
