Omved Tulsi Mask Review: A Tingling But Effective Mask
Hello my Alpha readers, I am back with another acne clearing product. You already know how that I have been struggling with acne all my life. I have changed several dermatologists hoping to clear my acne once and for all but sadly my acne keeps coming back. One helluva loyal acne it is. My dermatologist says its hormonal so I can’t do much about it L. All I can do is try to contain it from berserk capturing my entire face. Currently, I am on acne medication so I have just a few zits here and there. Nothing major, but still enough to have me want to hide my face under makeup. I purchased the Omved Tulsi Mask because it is formulated to soothe irritated skin and fight against pimples and blemishes. I have used this mask on a couple of occasions and here is how this face mask fared.
Name: Omved Tulsi Mask
Price: ₹250/- for 25g
Ingredients:
What does it claim?
The Omved Tulsi Mask fights against pimples, blemishes, pigmentation, enlarged pores and sunburns. It helps clear the skin of impurities and lighten age spots to give a radiant glow. It is a natural face pack that helps to whiten the skin and make it scar-free.
How to use?
Wash your face with a non-foaming face wash. Then mix the powder with water/pure Rosewater/Aloe Vera to make a thick consistent paste of it. Apply on face and neck in soft upward strokes and leave on for around 20 minutes. Wash off the mask with cool water.
Does it fulfil its claim?
I first washed my face with my regular gel cleanser. Then I mixed the powder with rose water till it became a consistent paste. This powder is made up of completely natural ingredients so it is coarse in texture.
Even after mixing it with rose water the paste still felt rough and grainy. It has a very strong mint smell which I like a lot. When I applied the mask to my face, it made my skin tingle instantly. This is quite common with herbal masks so I wasn’t bothered much. The tingling sensation was bearable and to an extent pleasant. With the temperature being on a high, it feels good to have a cooling face pack. I usually leave a mask on till it dries but if you see my picture below you will understand that the mask is thick so it would take hours for it to dry completely. So, I washed the mask after 30 minutes. My skin tingled for a few minutes after I washed off the mask. I then noticed that the pimples on my face shrunk just a smidge and even pained less. The pimples never vanished completely it soothed my irritated skin. My skin looked clean and radiant. By radiant, I mean a decent amount of glow and not the kind of radiance you see after a facial.
What’s good about it?
Contains 100% natural ingredients
Deep cleans skin
Soothes irritated skin
Lightens blemishes
Absorbs excess sebum
Regular use makes the skin radiant
What’s not so good about it?
The powder comes in a pouch that is not re-sealable so you have to store it in a separate box.
I give Omved Tulsi Mask 4 out of 5 rating. This 100% natural mask is a safe bet. Slow and steady this helps to clean the skin and make it speckless.
