Puresense Grapefruit Refreshing Body Mist Review: A Long Lasting And Invigorating Body Mist

Puresense is a brand that offers products that are chemical free and formulated using soothing organic extracts and safe ingredients. Their products are free of sulphate, paraben, formaldehyde, mineral oil and are non-carcinogenic. Off late, I have been researching a lot on harmful effects of paraben and SLES and I realised that almost 90% of the toiletries I use contain these harmful chemicals. It scared me to no end and I decided to finish all of them as soon as possible and opt for products that are natural and beneficial for the skin.

I generally avoid spraying deodorants or body mists directly onto the skin as I have sensitive skin and I can never be sure of which product will be safe to use and which will cause any reaction. I bought Puresense Grapefruit Refreshing Body Mist because the saleswoman told me that the body mist is completely safe as it is devoid of harmful chemicals and that it can be used on both skin and clothes. Also, I prefer fruity fragrance to floral and this body mist was just my type.

What does it claim?

The Puresense Grapefruit Refreshing Body Mist is pure, gentle yet invigorating for your senses. It gently nourishes and revitalises the skin. Its aroma lasts longs and keeps you fresh all day.

 

How to use?

After a shower, spray the body mist on the body and clothes.

 

Does it fulfil its claim?

The body mist comes in a glass spray bottle and is packed in a white carton that is not sturdy at all as when I brought the bottle home, it accidentally slipped out of the box as it easily opened from the bottom. Luckily, it fell on the bed, so the bottle did not break. Aforementioned, I do not always spray body mists directly onto my skin. I usually spray it on my clothes. But since the saleswoman vouched for its natural ingredients, I thought of trying it directly onto my skin. I have never had a grapefruit so I am not sure of its smell but this body mist smells like a basket full of oranges. It’s tangy smell feels like a cross between oranges and grapes. I used this body mist during the summers when the temperature was high and I perspired a lot. Much to my surprise, despite the sweating, the body mist lasted more than 5 hours. I could get a whiff of the body mist throughout the day. When I sprayed it on my clothes, the body mist lasted me almost the entire day. In fact, I could smell the body mist on my clothes even after a wash. As far as the ‘nourishing and revitalising of skin’ is concerned, I did not see any such effect on my skin. I anyway expected the body mist to serve its basic purpose i.e. to make me smell good all day long which it did to a great extent.

I give Puresense Grapefruit Refreshing Body Mist 5 out of 5 rating. This body mist is natural and long lasting. Its fruity smell is truly ‘a delight to your senses’. I would HIGHLY recommend this body mist to anyone who likes fruity fragrances.
