Seo Ye Ji Is A Beguiling Vision In The Latest Poster For Her New Drama Titled ‘Eve’

tvN’s latest offering ‘Eve’ follows the life of Lee Ra El (Seo Ye Ji) whose family is destroyed after she loses her father. She spends the next 13-years plotting revenge against the chebols who ruined her life.

In the poster, she is seen crumbling a flower as Ra El is compared to a “dangerous flower” that exudes fatal charm.

Koreans expect their celebrities to lead by example and have a squeaky clean image. The moment a famous personality gets into a controversy, they get ‘canceled’ in no time and are dropped like a hot potato by brands and networks.

Seo Ye Ji experienced something similar after she was embroiled in controversy last year when her alleged boyfriend’s former agency revealed that Seo Ye Ji demanded he maintains distance from his female co-stars which then ended with him quitting the show mid-way.

Seo Ye Ji had to lay low for almost a year to ensure that the negative publicity around her died gradually. A few months ago, her name cropped up in another controversy when her neighbors complained about her and her family’s rude and abusive behavior toward them.

I personally liked Seo Ye Ji from ‘Hwarang’. Even if she had a short role, she still left an impact and stood out in such a huge star cast. She nailed it with her exemplary performance in ‘It’s Okay To Not Be Okay’ and I thought there is no stopping this girl.

The controversies left a bad taste in my mouth too especially because I like her supposed ex Kim Jung Hyun and was genuinely concerned for his health after he had to leave his show ‘Time’ citing health issues.

Anyways… Eve’s poster looks captivating and Seo Ye Ji looks dangerously stunning. I’ll wait for the trailer to decide if I want to watch the show or not.

‘Eve’ is set to premiere on May 25 on tvN and Viki.
