Rita tells Igor that Nadya is the best candidate of the day and hands him her bio-data. He is pleased to see her credentials but Nadya looks bemused. At the office cafe, Nadya demands an answer from Igor for lying to her for the past 5 years that they have been together. (What? Why would a ‘rich’ guy pretend to be ‘poor’ to impress a girl? I thought usually it is the other way round. Since when did being poor become cool?) He justifies that though he wanted to tell her the truth long back he never really found a good opportunity to do so. She tells him how much she despises lies. She asks him if he ever really intended to have her meet his father or that he just wanted a maid for his house. He tries to explain but she walks off without listening to him.
Igor runs after Nadya and apologizes for lying to her. He explains that he never intended to hurt her and whatever he did was just to win her over, to save their relationship. He reminds her of how much she loves him and tells her that his financial status shouldn’t make a difference to her feelings for him. Nadya goes on to reminiscence the days when they used to struggle without money and how much she enjoyed that but now it all feels fake. Everything about him feels fake to her. He holds her and tries to convince her that it was all true and begs for forgiveness. Nadya tells him to stay away from her for a few days and walks off leaving him stranded on the pavement.
At night, Igor waits under Nadya’s house but she refuses to see him and tells him that she will leave the house tomorrow morning. She looks at some old pictures with Igor and cries alone.
Ira tells grandma Tamara that Igor’s father praised her and said that he wants a daughter-in-law like her. Grandma says she isn’t surprised as Irina is that good a catch. Tamara says that Igor is a great guy and his family background is good too. Other than his mother’s sudden demise nothing bad has ever happened to the Panin family.
At work, Ira is disappointed to see Nadya’s bio data in the file of selected candidates. Ira is surprised to see Igor so early at work and offers to bring him coffee but he asks her for a favour. He tells her that he has bought a flat and that he wants her to furnish it the way she wants to and gives her the house keys and address. She asks him about his preferences to which he says he just wants a house comfortable enough to live while she can add whatever else she wants to. Ira remembers mentioning living separately to Igor a few days ago and is delighted to know how seriously he takes her words.
Igor forces Nadya to go with him some place. Meanwhile, Ira is busy shopping for stuff to decorate Igor’s house.
At a restaurant, Igor brings Nadya to meet his parents. The first question his father asks is when they would be getting married. Nadya tells him that she cannot marry Igor as he has been lying to her for the past 5 years and that she came to know his reality just yesterday. Igor tells his parents that he is ready to leave the company and family for Nadya’s sake. Igor’s father asks him if he is sure about his decision and Igor gives an affirmative answer. His father then approves his decision saying that if Igor cannot handle a woman, how can he ever handle a big company. (Nadya doesn’t want to marry Igor because he is RICH. Seriously? Have I been living under a rock? Since when did sound financial condition become a deal-breaker? Sheesh!)
In a park, Igor narrates his life story to Nadya as to how he felt shattered when he came to know that Polina was not his real mother and that his biological mother had abandoned his sister and him when they were very young. He tells her that he hated his father for betraying his mother and had fallen into bad ways at a very young age. When he met Nadya at the university her fell for her instantly but she told him that she maintains distance from rich people and he was afraid of losing her which is why he had to lie to her. He apologises to her and promises to never repeat his mistake again.
Igor’s step mom Polina calls Ira and asks her to find out details about her new colleague Nadya. Ira agrees to do so and wonders what happened to Polina for the sudden interest in Nadya . We then see the mysterious man meet Polina who greets him with a hug and they leave to go for some shopping.
Igor hands in his resignation to his father. His father asks Igor to leave his cabin before banging his fist furiously on the table. Igor meets his sister on his way out and tells her that he is leaving because their father does not approve of his girlfriend.
Ira informs Igor that the work at his new house is done and all that remains now is him to move in. Igor asks her if she knows of any jewellery store, Ira feels thrilled and quickly emails him the address to a store. She then meets Polina at a shopping store to give her Nadya’s details. She asks Polina the reason behind her interest in Nadya but Polina rudely shuts her up.
Igor’s father calls Nadya to his office and feeds her in about Igor’s resignation. He tells her that though Igor had given him a tough time as a child, he still is a good boy and a good businessman. Nadya says that despite all that she still won’t marry in a rich household. (Are you kidding me woman? You don’t want to marry Igor because he is RICH? Hahaha…. I just fell off my chair laughing and crying at the same time.) Igor’s father tells her that they shouldn’t sacrifice their careers for the sake of love and that they can work together and take his business forward. Nadya leaves saying that she will sleep over his proposition.
A desperate Ira confesses of her love for Igor to Polina. Polina tells her that she and her husband like her a lot and invites her up to her house. Ira takes the coffee tray from the house help and offers to take it to Igor’s dad’s room when she overhears him praise Igor’s girlfriend. She hears him tell Polina that Igor has made a good choice and that he wants Igor to marry her. He adds that Igor’s girlfriend was a gold medallist in her college and she even aced his company’s interview which shocks Ira and she drops the tray.
Igor is buying a ring at a jewellery store when he receives a text message from Nadya asking him to meet her at the office. Ira remembers all that had happened over the last few days and burns in envy on realising that all the shopping that she did was for Nadya. Igor meets Nadya at the office before whisking her off to a secret place. Angry, Ira goes to Igor’s new house and plans to destroy all the decoration when she hears someone at the door and she quickly hides inside.
Igor brings Nadya to his new house and tells her that it will be ‘their’ house and they can live together if she agrees to his proposal and throws a necklace before her with a ring in it. (Diamond studded platinum ring :O Now do you like him, girl??) He tells Nadya how she has changed him as a person and how much he wants to be with her. Ira is listening to all this while hiding behind a door. Igor asks Nadya to marry him when Ira accidentally smashes a lampshade alerting Igor and Nadya.
