U-Prince The Series: The Single Lawyer: Episode 4 (Final Episode & Review)
The episode starts with Firstclass reprimanding Minute for coming late. As she apologises, Kirun stops by and offers Minute a bottle of juice saying that a hot guy sent it for her. Jealous, Firstclass demands Kirun to hand him the bottle. Kirun refuses but Firstclass insists he hand him the bottle. Kirun then tells Firstclass that he was lying about the hot boy giving Minute the bottle as he just wanted to see how jealous Firstclass feels on hearing about other guys trying to hit on Minute. Minute then teases Firstclass for feeling envious and he walks off denying the fact that he felt jealous.
Noey pays a surprise visit which flusters Firstclass. After making some random small talk, she sits on his lap and tries to seduce him when Minute walks in on them. She storms out of the room and Firstclass follows her. He finds her in the corridor but she refuses to listen to anything and rushes into the elevator.
Angry and upset, Minute calls BM to meet her.
When Firstclass returns to his room, he rebukes Noey for trying such cheap tricks to have Minute and him break up. She feigns ignorance and states that it is Minute who is misunderstanding him and that she has nothing to do with it. She then adds that this is just the beginning and that he must wait and watch what is coming her way next.
Minute meets BM at a park where they reminiscence their childhood days. He then apologises to her for happened that day and she readily forgives him considering he was sloshed. He then confesses that he did actually have a huge crush on her right from the time they first met and she looks flattered by it. She asks him if he has finally found that special someone to fill in the last page of his slam book and he says he has. He asks the same question to her and she tells him how happy she is when she is with that special person. She says she intended to confess her feelings for him when she caught him with Noey. BM offers her a hug and tells her that he knows his brother too well and that he will never do such a thing to her.
He pulls her into another hug when Pitcher sees them together. He calls some unknown person and thanks him for calling him on time to witness such a scene.
BM drops Minute home and we then see that Minute and Firstclass both want to talk to each other but refrain themselves from doing so. (Ugh!! Such a typical drama character trait.) At the university, some girls are gushing over a handsome boy’s photo when Minute walks by and they gossip that she is now a ‘fallen princess’ and that she has no money with her anymore. Minute feels conscious of their gazes and just then BM walks up to her and asks if it went well with Firstclass. She says that she is still not prepared to talk it out with him. She asks him if he has sorted things out with Pitcher and he says that he has not been able to get hold of him yet. They are then confronted by her friends who mock the fact that she is no longer rich and is now a ‘fallen princess’.
Noey meets Firstclass in the parking lot and shows him the ‘news’ about Minute’s family going bankrupt. Firstclass asks her if she is the source of this news and she nonchalantly replies that she did nothing. (huh?)
BM picks a fight with Minute’s friends who tease her for being poor. They tell Minute that now since she has no money on her she is of no use to them. BM wants to give the two girls a piece of his mind but Minute stops him from doing so. She asks him to take her to someplace else and they go to the Engineering building where Firstclass will join them shortly. BM apologises to Minute and shows her the message Pitcher sent him in which he mentions that he spread the news of Minute’s family going bankrupt as a punishment for stealing BM from him. BM shows the message to Firstclass who fumes with rage and orders BM to have things cleared as quickly as possible. Minute tries to calm Firstclass saying that it is the truth and that she has to deal with it but Firstclass insists BM sort the matter with Pitcher.
They visit Pitcher’s apartment where BM requests to have a word with Pitcher in private. Pitcher tells him that he knows that BM likes Minute as he saw him hugging her at the park. Pitcher seems betrayed that BM has always harboured feelings for Minute. BM pulls him into a back hug and says that despite everything the only person he wants to hug or even spend his life with is Pitcher.
But Pitcher isn’t convinced (who would be by a stupid hug anyway) and he breaks BM’s grip over him. Finally alone together, Minute takes the opportunity to clear things out as she asks Firstclass what exactly happened between him and Noey the other day. He hesitantly says that he got molested that day. His answer brings a smile on Minute’s face. He says that he is too shy to initiate such a move so it is clear that Noey must have been up to something. Minute grins and he asks if she believes him. She says she knows that he does not lie and believes his side of the story. He then asks her about BM and she says that she is sure that BM is just her friend and nothing more. She then adds that she does have feelings for a guy but is not sure if he likes her back because she is not well-mannered and does not cook well. Just then, Pitcher and BM step out of the room. Pitcher seems angry. Minute tries to convince him that there is nothing between them but he refuses to buy her story. So, Firstclass intervenes saying that he need not worry about BM cheating on him with Minute because Minute is now ‘his girl’.
He then turns Minute to himself and plants a peck on her lips. BM turns his eyes away but Pitcher looks quite amused.
Pitcher says that he plans to call a press conference and admit to spreading the rumours about Minute’s family. Minute says he need not do any such thing as she has accepted that her family has gone bankrupt and he need not try to coverup for her. Pitcher says that it is not just about her family but also his love as he wants to come out of the closet and reveal his sexuality to the world. BM joins in saying that he too wants Pitcher to meet his mother soon.
Firstclass then asks Minute if she wishes to visit any place special and after a lot of thinking, she finally takes him to the swing where she always meets BM and tells him that the place makes her happy.
Firstclass then apologises to her and she looks confused. He reveals that her family going bankrupt is a lie that her parents came up with in order to have her disciplined. In a flashback scene, we see that Minute’s parents approach BM and Firstclass to help them discipline her. Firstclass agrees to it on the condition that they will allow him to use his methods to do so.
Minute rises in anger and whines how she had to sell her bags and other designer stuff to survive. Firstclass is unable to hide his amusement at her outburst and Minute growls in anger.
He then apologises for kissing her suddenly and she says it’s okay (Why does he have to apologise after every kiss? If he feels so sorry then why does he do it?). He asks her if it was her first kiss and she shakes her head in a no. He admits it was his first kiss which takes Minute by surprise. He places the pocket watch around her neck and says that he fixed it for her. He states that he gave her his first kiss because she will be the only woman he will ever love in his life. (Awwwwwwwwww…..Drama hero, you are so cute.) He then proposes to her before leaning in for a kiss.
She stops him just before their lips meet and asks him for some time to think about it. He says she has 10 seconds to think and if she says nothing within that time then he will take it as a yes. He starts the countdown and she feels nervous. As the countdown comes to a close she kisses him hard thereby startling him. (hahaha look at his face)
With a sly smile, she admits that she had her answer ready for a long time in fact from the time he first helped her. He says that he cannot do anything for the hard time she had to have but will ensure that going forward whatever time they spend together will be the best times of her life.
At the university, Firstclass asks Minute for a goodbye kiss as he drops her in his car. She teases him for acting greedy after his first kiss. As she turns to leave she notices her erstwhile friends and changes her mind. She then allows him a kiss on her cheek which he does happily as her friends go green with envy. Seeing their reaction she then plants a peck on his cheek and this time her friends are almost in tears.
In another round of ‘breakup’ Firstclass scolds Noey for troubling Minute and asks her to back off. She asks him if he ever liked her and he answers that he never felt anything for her.
Coming out to his mother BM finally introduces Pitcher as his boyfriend. His mother accepts his relationship and says that she was always aware of it and was only waiting for him to speak the truth.
Minute pretends to be angry with her parents before telling them that she is fine with whatever they did for her. She shows them the pocket watch her father gifted her before they became rich and says that she only wishes them to eat food with her occasionally if not every day and her father promises her to do so.
Firstclass and Minute watch Pitcher’s press conference where he revealed BM as his boyfriend and Minute is happy that they don’t have to hide their relationship anymore.
Firstclass feels naughty and tries to steal a kiss but Minute stops him from doing so as a punishment for lying to her. She says he cannot touch or kiss her till he graduates. The punishment seems too severe for him so she allows him to hug her and his arm swings back onto her shoulder. He then asks for a kiss and she pushes him away saying that a kiss is certainly not allowed. He says it is impossible to stop himself from kissing her and she shrugs. Pulling her closer he asks her if she will be able to stop herself from kissing him (love the way he says that) and this time she finally gives in saying that some exceptions can be made in their case. He kisses her softly and says that he will ensure that she says this (making an exception) again and again.

Comments/ Final Drama Review
Whaaaaaaaaaaat? This story has just four episodes :O Why???? This show was so good. August and Apple’s chemistry was so hot. I wish there were more episode. 🙁
I thoroughly enjoyed this story. I was told by a lot of drama lovers that this story is one of the best and I am glad I picked this up because it was indeed worth a watch.
Talking about this episode, I think it was wrapped up hastily but then they didn’t really have a strong plot to build a script on so it’s fair enough. I had heard that Thai drama kisses are always fake or awkward and I think I now understand what drama watchers have been complaining about. I am especially disappointed with the ‘Minute is my girl’ kiss. I let it pass that Firstclass kinda claimed his right over Minute but that kiss was so awkward. Also, it was such a lousy way to convince Pitcher that Minute and Firstclass are together. Oh c’mon drama hero, there are better ways to convince Pitcher of your love why kiss a girl without her consent?
I think I laughed the hardest when it was revealed that Minute’s parents lied about going bankrupt and that it was all a lie just to ‘discipline’ her. What kind of parents entrust their young daughter with two young boys to ‘discipline’ her? Are you kidding me uncle aunty? You leave Minute with BM and Firstclass hoping that they will help her be more grounded? Like really? Sheesh! This has to be the most preposterous reason to leave your young daughter alone with two boys.
Despite the absurd storyline and awkward kisses I still enjoyed the lakorn because I loved August and Apple together. They looked good and acted well. If you plan to binge watch the U-Prince series than please start with this one.
