Wild Earth Woody Sandal Face And Body Wash Review: Just A Regular Body Wash

I love the smell of sandalwood. I have been using sandalwood paste for a very long time to reduce acne and blemishes on my face. I purchased the Wild Earth Woody Sandal Face and Body Wash because the brand, Wild Earth products are handcrafted, natural and eco-friendly. Their products are also devoid of harmful chemicals. As you know, I personally prefer using products containing natural ingredients so I just had to give this brand a try. I used this body wash for two weeks and have finished the full bottle. Here is what I felt about the product.

What does it claim?

Wild Earth Woody Sandal Face & Body Wash’s moisturising formula reduces skin tan and lightens the skin. It also helps in reducing anxiety and stress.

 

How to use?

Apply to wet skin, gently wash and pat dry.

Does it fulfil its claim?

Wild Earth Woody Sandal Face & Body Wash comes in a brown box which holds the transparent plastic bottle with a black pump dispenser. The product is of runny consistency.

It has a very strong sandalwood fragrance. I used it with my loofah so a few pumps were usually enough for me. The product lathers well and is easy to rinse off. Unlike most shower gels it does not leave any residual layer that makes the skin feel slippery even after you have washed off the body wash. The product can be used on the face too. I did not use it on my face because I already have a lot of products to be used on my face. After using it on my body I noticed that my skin did look a little lighter but there wasn’t any drastic shade lightening. My skin did not really feel soft or smooth after using it so I will not say that the body wash is moisturising. I suffer from anxiety but bathing in this body wash did not really reduce that in any way. The sandalwood fragrance is not very long-lasting and would vanish the moment I would step out of the bath. Overall, this worked like a very average body wash for me. I do not see any reason to re-purchase this product.

Sulphate and Paraben free

What’s not so good about it?

Did not really help with my stress or anxiety

Fragrance does not last long

 

I give Wild Earth Woody Sandal Face And Body Wash 2.5 out of 5 rating. I personally am not very impressed with this body wash. If you are looking for a body wash with a woody fragrance then you can try this one.
