Love stories begin when someone falls in love. And in Dramaland, it is often the boy who falls in love first. And there are plenty of shows based on the same. 1. A Business Proposal (2022)

Kang Tae Mu meets Jin Young Seo to please his grandfather and consider her for an arranged marriage. Young Seo comes across as a whimsical woman which strangely appeals to Tae Mu. However, the woman Tae Mu seems to have fallen for is not the actual Young Seo but a friend of hers named Shin Ha Ri.
Shin Ha Ri meets Tae Mu to help Young Seo get out of the arranged marriage meet and also for some fun. She tries her best to put Tae Mu off but he instead falls harder for her. Much to her surprise, Tae Mu is also her new boss at work so avoiding him becomes impossible.

Hwang Hee Tae is studying to be a doctor and needs some money from his father. He gets the money but in return has to go on a date arranged by his father. When Hee Tae meets his blind date Soo Ryun he recognizes her instantly as the gutsy nurse who stood up to an unruly patient at a hospital.
But he is not sure why she is there to meet him as his blind date Soo Ryun is supposed to be the daughter of a rich businessman. Nevertheless, he goes on with her lie and falls helplessly in love with her.

Lee Su Ho is the most popular boy in school. He is handsome and intelligent. Girls vie for his attention but he has eyes only for the weirdo Im Joo Kyung. Joo Kyung is the same girl he saved from committing suicide one night and she is also the same girl he meets at the local book shop.
Im Joo Kyung suffers from a skin condition that causes red patches all over her face. She wears makeup to school to hide her imperfections. Only Su Ho knows the truth behind her flawless beauty. But he does not mind her outer appearance because he has already fallen hard for her inner beauty.

Cha Jin Wook is a rich spoilt brat who spends most of his money on women and alcohol. Tired of his irresponsible nature, Jin Wook’s father makes him work as a resort employee to learn the nitty-gritty of the business. While working at the resort he meets Lee Yoo Mi who is a guest attending her own mother’s wedding.
The two of them keep bumping into each other and end up spending a drunken night together. Embarrassed by the one-night stand with a complete stranger, Yoo Mi runs away from Jin Wook leaving him stranded at the beach. Jin Wook feels insulted at being deserted by a woman and is unable to get over it for a long time until he meets Yoo Mi once again and resolves to take him revenge this time.

Ahn Min Hyuk is the young CEO of a gaming company. One day, he witnesses a young petite woman named Do Bong Soon stand up for herself against some bullies. Impressed by her exemplary strength, he hires her as his bodyguard. Proximity to her gives him the hope to ignite something more than just a boss-employee relationship.
Do Bong Soon is in love with her childhood friend Gook Doo and is least interested in the childish CEO Min Hyuk. Gook Doo too seems interested in Bong Soon, which makes Min Hyuk highly insecure and possessive of Bong Soon. Left with no choice, he decides to love bomb Bong Soon and make her fall for him.

Kang Dong Joo studied very hard to become a doctor. While working at the ER, he sees his senior Yoon Seo Jung act quickly and almost heroically to save a person’s life, which makes him fall hard for her. She even covers up his mistake at the hospital and takes the hit for him. Overwhelmed by her selfless gesture, he ends up kissing her one evening while trying to comfort her.
But his romance is short-lived when he discovers that Yoon Seo is in a relationship with another doctor at the hospital. Yoon Seo goes off the radar after an accident and Dong Joo gets busy with work. Crown Prince Hyo Myung dotes on his younger sister and is afraid that the secret lover sending her lover letters must actually be some fraudster. In search of his sister’s secret lover, he goes go to the village and finds out that Sam Nom is the village poet who has been writing love poems to his sister. Angry, Hyo Myung decides to take Sam Nom back with him to the palace and make him work for him.
To help support her family, Ra On disguises herself as a eunuch Sam Nom who writes love letters for his clients. When Hyo Myung takes her back with him, she tries to flee multiple times but is caught by the Prince every time. Hyo Myung enjoys teasing and troubling Hyo Myung and eventually ends up falling for the eunuch Sam Nom unaware that she is actually the young girl Ra On.

Kim Tan comes across Cha Eun Sang who is in the US looking for her sister. Eun Sang’s sister is surprised by her sudden visit and robs her before leaving her alone to fend for herself. Kim Tan, who witnesses the two sisters fighting, decides to help Eun Sang who is all alone in a foreign country.
Eun Sang leaves shortly after and unable to get over her, Kim Tan follows her to South Korea where they study in the same school. Kim Tan is the son of the headmistress while Eun Sang is admitted on scholarship. Kim Tan is clear and vocal about his feelings for Eun Sang and goes all out to make her fall for him but she is reluctant to see him because of their economic standing.

Yoo Jung comes from a rich family and is quite popular in his school for his good looks and kind nature. However, not many know that he is actually very vindictive and knows how to get back at those who rub him the wrong way.
Hong Seol is a hardworking student who returns to school after a gap. Yoo Jung suddenly seems interested in her but Hong Seol of aware of his hidden side and is wary of being friends with him. He, however, pursues her relentlessly until she gives in and starts a relationship with him.

Bok Joo is a weightlifter and a childhood friend of Joon Hyung. When Joon Hyung remembers Bok Joo being his friend he starts teasing her for her chubby frame just like he did when they were kids. Bok Joo dislikes being around Joon Hyung but he cannot stop himself from chasing after her because he likes too much and does his best to make her like him back.

Hwang Tae Kyung is livid when he discovers that the new singer Go Mi Nam, in his boy band is actually a girl named Gi Mi Nyeo. Mi Myeo is the twin sister of Go Mi Nam who is the new member of the boy band A.N.Jell. She temporarily takes his place after a botched-up surgery delays his introduction with the other band members.
Tae Kyung initially hates Mi Nyeo for cheating him but as they spend time together, he starts to slowly fall for her. But Mi Nyeo is training to be a nun in her real life and has no idea about love or attraction for boys. Tae Kyung ensures that Mi Nyeo not only understands his affection for her but also makes her fall for him.
Love stories are aplenty but what makes a couple special is how a character makes the other fall in love with them. And the love stories mentioned above are some of my most favourites. Each of the male characters works sincerely and really hard to gain the girl’s attention and make her fall for him.
