Actor Lee Joon Gi recently posted a combined image containing the poster of his thriller drama “Flower of Evil” alongside the Indian web series “Duranga” on his Instagram profile.

“Duranga” starring Drashti Dhami and Gulshan Devaiah is the official Indian adaptation of Lee Joon Gi’s popular thriller series “Flower of Evil”. Zee5 launched the series on August 19 and viewers and critics have praised the leads for their acting.  

“Flower of Evil” is a suspense show following the life of Baek Hee Sung played by Lee Joon Gi who hides his dark past from his family and lives a normal happy life until his detective wife is assigned an investigation on a series of murders committed 15 years ago.

The show was applauded by fans and critics for its gripping storyline and brilliant acting by Lee Joon Gi. The show was so successful that it has got not only an Indian adaptation but also a Filipino remake.

I am a scaredy cat (who can read thrillers but not watch it) so I steer away from dramas involving murders and other crimes. But if you are interested in suspense shows then “Flower of Evil” is a good choice as I can vouch for Lee Joon Gi’s exceptional acting talent. And if reading subtitles bores you then our own desi version “Duranga” I’ve heard is quite a decent watch.
