BARC Ratings For Week 42: Here Is Your New Channel Leader As STAR Plus Finally Leaves The Number One Spot
After weeks of ruling the number one spot STAR Plus has finally bowed down as new channel leader, Colors triumphantly rises to rank 1 on the BARC cumulative and Urban GEC rating list. Sony Entertainment Television too has climbed up in week 42 taking a spot within the top five channels in the urban ratings. It is good to finally see some change in channel rankings.
The Naagin series seems to be the game changer for Colors. Not only is it rank 1 in the Urban and combined ratings but the re-run of Naagin season 1 too tops the charts in the rural ratings. The unique love story of a eunuch seems to have clicked with the audiences as Shakti – Astitva Ke Ehsaas Ki continues to stand at number 2 in combined and urban ratings. These two shows can be credited for the rise in ranking of the channel.
