Bigg Boss Contestants Who Struggled With Hindi
Bigg Boss has always boasted of having a mixed bag of contestants on the show every year. Almost every season of Bigg Boss has a television star, a model, a singer, a film star, and a beauty contest winner. Additionally, the show also has contestants who struggle with Hindi every season. Bigg Boss 9 had Rochelle Rao, Mandana Karimi, and Nora Fatehi trying to perfect their Hindi in the house.
Let’s have a look at the predecessors of these strugglers in Hindi on the show.
Ragini and Carol – Season 1
Ragini Shetty alias Abhijatha Umesh and Carol Gracias, both hailing from the South of India had a tough time with the language used in the reality show. However, we did see Carol learn some Hindi from Bhojpuri actor, Ravi Kishan.
Jade Goody – Season 2
UK’s reality TV personality, Jade Goody, had to exit the show after just two episodes as she was diagnosed with cervical cancer. However, even during her short stay, it was delightful to see her communicate and sing in Hindi.
Claudia Ciesla – Season 3
Vida Samadzai and Sunny Leone – Season 5
Don’t remember Vida? Well this former Miss Afghanistan, may have had a brief stint on the show but was also among the few who worked on their Hindi on the show. Vida’s exit saw the entry of porn artist Sunny Leone. Sunny is one of the most successful Bigg Boss contestants as she bagged a film during her stay in the house.
Hazel Keech and Elli Avram – Season 7
What? Hazel in Bigg Boss? When? Don’t look surprised she was one of the first contestants to be eliminated so maybe that is why you don’t remember her. However, you just cannot forget Elli. Her improvement in Hindi every single day was what made her one of the most endearing contestants on the show.
Natasa Stankovic – Season 8
Her invisible stint on the reality show may have gone unnoticed (unsurprisingly) but yes, she also was one of the ‘firang’ contestants on the show who found it difficult to speak Hindi.
Let’s see what the next season has in store for it ardent viewers.
