Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Neem & Tea Tree Face Wash Review: Maintains Oil Balance & Improves Skin Tone

I was introduced to Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic range of products at a beauty exhibition held in my city. Since, I prefer brands that contain less of chemicals and more of natural extracts, I was easily attracted to the Aroma Magic booth. I was looking for products meant for oily skin and the brand representative handed me this facewash. The face wash claims to control acne and balance face oil so I had to buy it. I bought this face wash at a discount of 20% (Yay!!). I have been using it for two weeks and here is my experience with it.

Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Neem & Tea Tree Face Wash Review

The product is gel based and light green in colour. It lathers well and is easy to rinse. A little amount is enough to wash the entire face and neck. Though it contains neem as its active ingredient, it has a pleasant flowery fragrance because of the rose extracts and lavender essential oil present in it.

Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Neem & Tea Tree Face Wash Review

After washing my face with this face wash my skin felt soft and smooth. It did not dry out my skin and easily cleared the excess sebum off my face. I used this facewash twice a day for two weeks and noticed that it improved my skin tone but did nothing for my acne. I will not say that it does not work on acne at all because my acne is hormonal and no facewash can ‘cure’ it. It may work for acne caused due to external reasons. However, I am not sure about it completely ‘curing’ acne. It may probably help soothe it. My skin was irritated for a few days in the last two weeks but the facewash did not help with that either. It lightens scars but only after regular and frequent use. It is most effective in clearing and controlling excess oil than controlling acne.

What’s good about it?

Improves skin tone

Control excess sebum

Effectively cleans oily skin

Does not dry out skin

Travel-friendly packaging

Reasonably priced

What’s not so good about it?

Does not work on all kinds of acne

Does not fully soothe irritated skin

I give Blossom Kochhar Aroma Magic Neem & Tea Tree Face Wash 3 out of 5 rating. The facewash is effecting is controlling excess sebum and keeps the skin oil free for hours.
