“Business Proposal” Actress Kim Se Jeong’s Next Drama To Air From July

Actress Kim Se Jeong along with co-actors Nam Yoon Su and Choi Daniel will be seen in the upcoming drama, “Today’s Webtoon”. “Today’s Webtoon” is the Korean adaptation of the Japanese dorama, “Sleepeeer Hit!”. The show has received the Friday-Saturday time slot and will premiere on July 29.

Kim Sejeong will be playing the character named On Ma Eum, a former judo athlete who gives up on her dreams after suffering an injury. She takes up the job of a contract employee with a neon webtoon’s editorial department.

Nam Yoon Su will be portraying the character of Goo Joon Young who is a meritorious employee and never had to face many difficulties at work. However, after being assigned to the webtoon department, things change for him and he learns to adjust and give his best shot at everything he does.

Choi Daniel will be seen as Seok Ji Hyung, the deputy editor who does not mince words when assessing someone’s work but also helps and supports his juniors. He plays a vital role in mentoring On Ma Eum.  

With the cast locked in, the drama looks quite promising. Japanese doramas usually lack the fluff you get in K-dramas. I’m assuming the writers shall work on adding typical K-drama elements in the show to make it more appealing to the viewers.

I loved Kim Se Jeong in “Business Proposal” and I’m excited to see her in this new show. She is currently vacationing in Europe and looking absolutely gorgeous in her Instagram updates. Looks like she might resume work once she is back from her vacation.
