Wish I could make some money out of it. sighs So, my oily skin gets extra oily in the summers and is at its worst during this time. No matter how often I wash my face my skin feels greasy and looks dull and shiny. I picked up Everyuth Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash because it said that it controls face oil. I used this face wash for over three weeks and here is my experience using it.

Does it fulfil its claim?
In my last face wash review, I had mentioned a bad experience using a face wash from another brand. It was this face wash I was talking about. Initially, when I used this face wash, I loved how it got rid of the excess oil on my face and made my skin oil free. Back then, summer was at its peak and the temperature was at an all-time high which is why my skin never felt stretchy. I washed my face 2-3 times a day with this face wash and was in love with it. After a few days, my skin started feeling dry, so I reduced the number of times I washed my face to twice a day. My skin continued to feel a little dry but I was happy that it wasn’t looking dull because of excess oil. One day, I was at a mall, and my skin did not just feel dry but it felt extremely stiff. It felt like as if I have applied glue to my face which has dried and needs to be peeled off. On checking my reflection in the mirror my skin looked horrible with what seemed like cracks on my chin and upper lip. I discontinued using this face wash from that day itself and switched to my old mild face wash and my skin got back to normal in a couple of days. I was so happy to be oil-free that I totally ignored the signs that the face wash was actually drying out my skin and robbing its natural oil. I have super sensitive skin and this face wash did not work for me.

Not suitable for sensitive oily skin
I give Everyuth Oil Clear Lemon Face Wash 2 out of 5 rating. The face wash is effective in controlling oil, so if you have oily skin then this one might suit you. However, if your skin is oily and sensitive like mine, then avoid using this face wash excessively as it will dry out your skin. You can use it once a day to keep oiliness at bay.
