The Face Shop Real Nature Goji Berry Mask Review: Does NOT FAIL To Keep Its Promise

Right now the song playing in my head is ‘Addicted’ by Enrique Iglesias because that is exactly what I feel for Korean sheet masks. I am so freaking addicted to them. They are so effective that I do not want to sleep without using one. I am so accustomed to waking up to glowing skin that I almost cannot do without a sheet mask. Sheet masks are extremely hydrating for the skin and my skin loves the serum. I just finished one box full of sheet masks and the Goji Berry mask is the last one in my personal collection of Real Nature masks. I will be trying more sheet masks from different brands as I now want to try all sheets masks on this planet. 😉 For now, let me share with you my experience using the Goji Berry Mask.

Goji Berry The Face Shop Real Nature Goji Berry Mask

Name: The Face Shop Real Nature Goji Berry Mask

Price: ₹100/- for 1 sheet mask

Ingredients:

The Face Shop Real Nature Goji Berry Mask

What does it claim?

The mask in drenched in Goji Berry serum that moisturises flaky dehydrated skin.

How to use?

Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat it dry. Using a cotton ball gently rub a toner over your face that will help refine your skin texture. Remove the mask from its packet and place it on your face. Remove the mask (down to up direction) after 10-15 minutes and gently massage the solution left on the skin and leave it on till it dries on your face. DO NOT wash it off as your skin needs to absorb the serum. The serum may feel sticky at first but don’t worry it will dry after some time.

Does it fulfil its claim?

The Goji Berry mask comes in a dark grey pouch. The white cotton mask is soaking wet with serum and has a fruity fragrance. I washed my face with an oil balance cleanser and then rubbed my regular toner over my skin and let it dry. I then took out the sheet mask from its packet and tore the eye hole of the mask wider, before placing it on my face. I left the sheet mask on for around 35 minutes before peeling it off my face. I then squeezed out the excess serum from the pouch and dabbed it over my face, neck and shoulders. The next morning, my skin looked brighter as it does after almost very sheet mask that I use. I used this mask when I could feel a new pimple erupting on my face and the next morning I noticed that the pimple did not get larger and subsided right away. I will repeat once again that the brand does not claim to get rid of pimples. It is just my observation that each time a use a sheet mask the pimples on my face dry out and eventually subside. I mostly get pimples when I drink less water during the day and sheet masks provide the moisture that my skin requires desperately. The Goji Berry mask provided the much-needed moisture to my skin and it helped smoothen my skin.

What’s good about it?

Highly moisturising

Does not break out acne prone skin

Soothes acne

Makes the skin soft and smooth

Has a fruity fragrance

Gives a healthy glow to the skin

What’s not so good about it?

Expensive (I still feel that ₹100 for a one-time use sheet mask is unreasonable.)

Effects last for just two days

I give The Face Shop Real Nature Goji Berry Mask 4.5 out of 5 rating. The mask keeps its promise of moisturising the skin and making it radiant.
