Oriflame Love Nature Face Wash Review: Too Tiny A Tube For An Effective Face Wash

Oriflame’s products are exclusive and not easily available. I have used an Oriflame lipstick before but never used any of its skin product. When I saw Amazon selling Oriflame’s skin products I thought let’s try a face wash first before buying any of its other products just to be sure that its skin products are as good as its makeup range. There a variety of options to choose from the ‘Love Nature’ face wash range. I picked up the peach face wash. And I was pleasantly surprised with the result. So, here is my experience using Oriflame Love Nature Face Wash – Peach.

What does it claim?

The face wash contains peach extracts that cleans the skin of impurities and eliminates excess shine from the surface of the skin for a clearer and healthier-looking complexion.

 

How to use?

Squeeze the required amount of face wash onto your fingers and gently rub all over your face till it forms a mild lather. Rinse thoroughly.

 

Does it fulfill its claim?

I’ll be honest here, the moment I first held the face wash in my hand I had tears in my eyes. No, no not tears of joy on receiving my order but tears of horror seeing the tiny size of the tube. I sound like a miser but trust me paying Rs. 159/- for tube smaller than the palm of my hand is indeed an expensive buy. It is not that I wasn’t aware of the product details, but reading about it and seeing it in real are two different things. The actual product looked more like a sample product and I went back to the website to check my exact order just in case they accidentally sent me the sample. But nope, I did order the actual product that looks like a sample. Argh!

The tube has a white screw cap, which is inconvenient to use as a clumsy person like me finds it extremely challenging to unscrew the cap, squeeze the product and then screw the cap back on without spilling the product. The face wash is a runny liquid solution that smells strongly of its key ingredient i.e. peach. This transparent peach liquid is very light on the skin and I needed quite a lot of the product to cover my entire face.

After washing my face my skin felt smooth and looked clean. The face wash worked wonderfully for my oily skin as the excess oil on my face was cleared off in an instant without over-drying my skin. My skin felt smooth and oil-free for hours after using the face wash.

 

Does it fulfill its claim?

Yes, it totally does. I have been using this face wash for over a week and it does rid the skin of impurities and clears excess oil off the face. My skin looks and feels clean after every use.

Travel size packaging. The tube is tiny and can easily fit in any purse.

What’s not so good about it?

Screw cap makes it inconvenient to use the product.

Expensive. Considering the quantity, the price is too much for a tiny tube.

 

I give Oriflame Love Nature Face Wash – Peach 4 out of 5 rating. I have deducted one point for its tiny size. The product fulfills its claims and is a good option for people troubled with oily skin.
