Son Seok Koo Is On A Roll As He Signs A New Show With Disney+
Disney+ has announced its latest Korean series titled “Casino” starring actors Son Seok Koo, Choi Min Sik, Heo Seong Tae, and Lee Dong Hwi.
“Casino” follows the life of a man who comes to be known as the king of the casino but loses everything in life due to a series of unfortunate events. He returns to gambling but this time bets on his life.
This show marks the return of veteran actor, Choi Min Sik who will be seen in a TV show after a gap of 24 years. He last appeared in the MBC TV series, “Love and Separation”.
“Squid Game” fame actor, Heo Sung Tae will also be seen in a pivotal role along with “Radiant Office” actor, Lee Dong Hwi.
Son Seok Koo seems to be on a roll as his movie “The Outlaws 2”, starring Korean superstar, Ma Dong Seok, has been declared the highest May grosser in Korean movie history. Son Seok Koo plays a negative character in the movie and viewers have loved him as the formidable villain.
His character of the mysterious Mr. Gu in the popular drama “My Liberation Notes” can be called his breakthrough performance as he has been on a signing spree since then.
Apart from Casino, Son Seok Koo will also be seen in “Murder DIEary” and “D.P. Season 2”.
“Casino” is scheduled to start airing in the latter half of 2022 on Disney+.
