The Face Shop Lingzhi Face Mask Review: Makes The Skin Tighter And Shrinks Enlarged Pores

Every sheet mask is drenched in serum that is formulated to tackle a specific skin issue. The Lingzhi Mask is meant for skin firming. If you are wondering what lingzhi is, then it is a type of a mushroom known for its medicinal properties. The Chinese associate lingzhi with long life as it is known to boost immunity. The lingzhi mask is fortified with the goodness of lingzhi and is supposed to work its anti-ageing magic on sagging skin. I used this mask a few days ago and here is my experience with it.

The Face Shop Lingzhi Mask Review

What does it claim?

This mask helps improve the resilience of sagging skin.

How to use?

Wash your face with a mild cleanser and pat it dry. Using a cotton ball gently rub a toner over your face that will help refine your skin texture. Remove the mask from its packet and place it on your face. Remove the mask (down to up direction) after 10-15 minutes and gently massage the solution left on the skin and leave it on till it dries on your face. DO NOT wash it off as your skin needs to absorb the serum. The serum may feel sticky at first but don’t worry it will dry after some time.

Does it fulfil its claim?

The mask comes in a black pouch and is a cream coloured cotton sheet soaked in the same colour serum. I first washed my face, applied my regular toner and let it dry. As always, I tore the eye hole to fit my eye before placing the mask on my face. I left the mask on for around 30 minutes before taking it off. I then massaged the leftover serum all over my face and neck and let it dry overnight. The serum has a perfume like smell. Now I am fairly young so I do not have skin sagging issues. But after using this mask I noticed that my pores looked shrunken. My skin looked refreshed and tighter. It did not look as radiant as a radiance mask would make my skin look but my face still looked decently bright.

What’s good about it?

Paraben-free

Shrinks enlarged pores

Moisturises the skin

Makes the skin radiant

Perfume-like fragrance

What’s not so good about it?

Contains alcohol

I give The Face Shop Lingzhi Mask 4 out of 5 rating. This mask worked great to temporarily minimize my enlarged pores. Do give it a try if you too wish to hide your pores.
